Inktober

If you are not familiar with it, Inktober is an art challange that artists around the world join in together, challenging themselves to produce an ink drawing for every day in October. Often these artists follow the prompt list put out by the guy who started this challenge.

For Inktober 2019 and 2018, I collaborated with my brother, Kyle, to add an extra challenge to the project. He is a talented writer and wanted to challenge himself to write a poem for everyday in October. I asked him to write the poems based on the prompts that were set. So, together we've produced over 31 poems with accompanying illustrations. Featured here, are just a few of our best:

2017 was the first year I did Inktober and it was quite a challenge. It often kept me up till 2 am as I was trying to juggle a full load of university classes and extracurriculars.
